 The Clinical Medical Assisting Program is an 18 week Blended (In Person/Online) course designed to effectively train and educate students in all aspects of medical assisting. 

Our program is a combination of online learning, lecture and hands-on skills lab

There is a high demand for Medical Assistants with clinical skills area wide.

We are committed to teaching the necessary fundamentals for starting a career as a Medical Assistant. Students gain an invaluable amount of experience in both hands on teaching while understanding the importance of patient care.

Our courses will allow Students to learn the techniques for performing injections, CPR/First Aid, laboratory procedures & specimen handling, patient medical history, vitals, phlebotomy, wound care, customer service skills and front office duties.

Our instructors will educate and train as you gain a thorough understanding of the following:

  • Customer Service in a medical facility

  • Laboratory specimen procedures & handling

  • Medications & Pharmacology

  • Patient & Exam Room Preparation

  • Charting & Medical Histories

  • HIPAA & Patient's Rights

  • Standard Precautions, Safety, Infection Control

  • Medical Terminology I & II

  • Anatomy & Physiology of the Major Organs

  • Injections & Wound Care

  • Phlebotomy and EKG 

  • IV Placement

Clinical Medical Assisting Programs Admissions Requirements:

  • 17 Years of Age or Older

  • High School Diploma, GED, or International High School Diploma Equivalency

  • Entrance Exam
